More than anyone else, you must be aware of the power of faith, willpower, and self-belief in healing any disease or coming out of any disaster or mishap. In the present COVID pandemic situation, fear of COVID had overpowered people more than the spirit of patience and self-belief for which we Indians are known around the world.
With the aforesaid in view, two days back at Yuvsatta (youth for peace), a constructive campaign christened as ‘हम होंगे कामयाब ‘ was launched.
The campaign aims at extending a deep debt of gratitude to the first eleven prominent educational institutions that came forward to strengthen and support the endeavour. These institutions displayed banners of the ‘Positivity & Brotherhood Campaign – हम होंगे कामयाब, on their outside boundary walls.
Yuvsatta has also announced the 2020-21 ‘CovidTimes Peace Prize for Schools’. The prize includes a ‘CovidTimes Peace Prize Trophy’, a merit certificate and an amount of eleven thousand rupees each for the Peace Club activities in 2021-22, to the top five schools.
To apply for the same, the interested schools can submit the following:
- Details of all activities conducted during COVID times, focused on promoting the ‘Power of Positivity’ among young students.
- Any press clippings, pictures supporting the claim.
- Feedback/reflections from the teachers and students regarding the initiatives.
The last date to send the ‘Schools Positivity Spread Report’ is Friday, May 14, 2021.
The ‘CovidTimes Peace Prize’ to the best five schools will be presented on May 24, 2021-The Commonwealth Day’. This can be sent by email or in the shape of a hard copy at Yuvsatta’s office at R. No. 12, Karuna Sadan, Sector 11, Chandigarh, on any working day, between 10 a.m. to 02.00 p.m.
