The Winter Edition of ‘Afreen,’ a lifestyle and home décor exhibition, has commenced at Kisan Bhawan, Sector 35, Chandigarh, marking the onset of the winter and wedding season.
Designed to cater to the diverse needs of tricity residents, the organizers have curated an extensive showcase featuring over 50 renowned exhibitors from across India. The exhibition encompasses an array of products, including wedding wear, winter attire, fashion, lifestyle, décor, and accessories, all conveniently housed under one roof.
The opening day saw a substantial turnout, with visitors flocking to explore the offerings. The exhibition is set to run until December 4, 2023, from 11 am to 8 pm daily.
Rattandeep Singh Walia, co-organizer of the event, emphasized, “With a focus on addressing customer needs for the winter and the ongoing wedding season, we have gathered top exhibitors from around the country. ‘Afreen’ presents a diverse range of fashionable clothing for winter, along with an exquisite collection of designer garments tailored for weddings. The exhibition also features jewelry items, trendy handbags, and unique gift items.”
Co-organizer Aman Walia added, “We’ve ensured that ‘Afreen’ serves as a one-stop-shop for customers, where offerings seamlessly blend craftsmanship, quality, and affordability.”
Highlighting the rich handicraft of local artisans from Jammu and Kashmir, ‘Deeva Trends’ is showcasing awe-inspiring Papier Mache artwork collections. Other exhibitors, such as ‘Kashmiri Art Gallery,’ present Kashmiri embroidery-based phirans, suits, pashmina shawls, stoles, and scarves.
Capturing the essence of Indian tradition with a modern twist, ‘Sui Dhaga’ offers breathtaking collections of designer party and wedding suits, along with a range of stitched and unstitched winter wear. ‘Design Factory’ showcases elegant collections of designer velvet, handwork Pakistani, and party wear suits.
From Ludhiana, ‘J Studio’ displays beautiful collections of western and indo-western apparel, including co-ord sets, western tops, and nightwear.
In the jewelry segment, ‘The House of Masa’ presents an enthralling collection of silver and gold-plated items, including rings, pendants, necklace sets, and pearl earrings. ‘Apostle’ features quality German silver, brass, natural stone neckpieces, rings, pendants, and chokers. Trendy handbags and Punjabi juttis are also on display.
For those seeking to enhance their home ambiance, ‘The Aroma Nest’ offers scented candles, including Premium Jar Candle, T-Light Candle, Salsa Jar Candle, Peony Flower Candle, Golden Window TIN Candle, and Bubble Candle.
Art enthusiasts can explore ‘Meraki’ from Haryana, featuring beautiful handmade paintings in various art forms like soil, acrylic, and texture. The label also showcases handmade woodwork items such as key rings and home décor pieces created with raisin and mix media art.
