From Darkness to Light

At the start of dusk it may be difficult to go through the night,

We might face dejection from the surroundings,

But to be honest it’s not that difficult to reach great heights.

For its true that from putting pressure on coal we get diamonds,

And from the setting of the moon we get a ray of sunshine.

It’s not only us that become heartbroken long before we rise,

But even a glow stick breaks before it shines.

People may take advantage and paralyse you from deep inside,

But these are also the ones who help u become fireflies.

If it wasn’t for the storm,

We may never have known the strength we held deep-down.

And if it wasn’t for the curse,

We might never have experienced a blessing in disguise.

It’s not the trench that keeps us from climbing peaks,

But a pessimistic heart, that drowns all the inner dreams.

All we have to do to become a skyscraper,

Is to stop fearing the consequences and have faith in what we believe.

If not now then when do we break the chains of melancholy,

And help each other find tranquillity in what we desire.

Our goal is not to win the obscure race,

But to reach the end of line with smiling faces and hands together.

All we need to have a prosperous life,

Is to believe in positivity, when all we see is darkness

For its true that from putting pressure on coal we get diamonds,

And from the setting of the moon we get a ray of sunshine.
