Prakhar Kandelwal

Prakhar Khandelwal has been enrolled with EV since 2018. Having a background from Chinmaya International Residential School in Coimbatore, he placed implicit trust on his counselors. The major contributions made from the admissions perspective were in the academic interview preparation, improving essays, rigorous personality development sessions, and the program discussion process (choosing the engineering stream). He received offer letters from all the universities he applied for the Chemical Engineering course such as University of Manchester, UCL (University College London), University of Cambridge, King’s College, Imperial College-London, University of Toronto, UBC and McGill University (with scholarships).

Shourya Raman

Shourya Raman’s journey with eduVelocity began in 2016, whilst he was a freshman. The family hails from Malaysia, and Shourya’s country preference was the UK as he desired to get into the medical school directly. In order to bring his dreams to fruition, he was put through multiple individual and group life skills sessions as well as interview preparations during the initial 2 years with us. Shourya has been successful in acquiring admissions offers from the medical schools at Sheffield University and Newcastle University.

Afsheen Jamal

Enrolled with EV since 2018, MBA aspirant Afsheen Jamal completely trusted her counselors and the EV team. As she was a working professional, the counselors made themselves available even after the office hours to ensure completion of her application within the deadline. She was offered the Master of Business Administration Program (MBA) from Rotman School of Management, UofT, along with the Rotman awards Forté Fellowship, provided only to the brightest and most ambitious of women who join the MBA program. She also received the acclaimed Forté Fellowship, with an entrance Award worth $30,000. Besides, she also got into ESADE for the MBA program. She eventually opted to be a part of ISB after deep deliberation.

Beyond assisting in the overall admissions procedure, the various counseling services at EV enhance students’ personalities. Despite the pandemic, profile building for the EV’s Class of 2021 was successfully completed through virtual MUNs, such online events as eduVelocity Global Business Challenge (a social entrepreneurship competition), job shadowing and internship experiences, various research projects and paper publications, Massive Open Online Courses, webinars, international third party collaborations and knowledge sessions for prospective students overseas.
