Pedaling Towards Wellness

In a bid to promote wellness and strengthen bonds within the cycling communities of Tricity and Ambala, a thrilling 50-kilometer long cycling rally was recently organized. The event aimed not only to encourage physical fitness but also to generate awareness among passionate cyclists about Diplast’s mega wellness program which took place on June 25th. This cycling rally served as a remarkable initiative under Diplast’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, reinforcing their commitment to the well-being of individuals and communities.

Promoting Wellness

Ashok Gupta, MD of Diplast said, “We supported the cycling event in keeping with our objective of promoting health and wellness in the region. I am happy to announce that under our CSR initiative, we will be holding a wellness programme to encourage regular exercise, proper diet, and mental well-being so that illnesses are prevented and people are brought closer to nature. The programme at ‘The Tree House Farm’, located near the Dappar barrier in Mohali district included various activities such as yoga, ayurvedic treatments, a healthy breakfast, interactions on wellness and nutrition etc.”

It is to be noted that Diplast is a well-known name in manufacturing a wide range of uPVC pipes and fittings including water tanks.

Meanwhile, the cycling event drew participants from the Ambala Cycling Club and Tricity’s cycling fraternity. Thirty (30) riders from each region took part in the cycling activity that covered around 50 km. While the Ambala cyclists took a route from Ambala’s Baldev Nagar to ‘The Tree House Farm’ and back, the Tricity cyclists came from Sector 20, Panchkula to ‘The Tree House Farm’ and then rode back. The riders from Ambala also honoured Ashok Gupta.

Making Way for a Healthier Living

While sharing further details about the Wellness Meet, Gupta said, “The meet was held from 7 am to 1 pm on June 25. The Wellness Meet provided an opportunity for individuals to engage in wellness-related activities and interact with like-minded individuals.”

In response to the growing concern of individuals succumbing to unhealthy lifestyle habits resulting in excessive weight gain and a sense of isolation, the significance of cycling and wellness activities has taken center stage.

This Sunday, nature and wellness enthusiasts gathered at the serene ‘Tree Farm House’ as part of Diplast’s ongoing campaign to emphasize the crucial role a healthy body, mind, and soul play in one’s overall well-being. The event aimed to foster a sense of connection with nature and promote the importance of maintaining a balanced and holistic lifestyle.
