Wok Fried Prawns (Stir Fry)

Ingredients for deep frying the prawns

100 gms Tiny Soft Shelled Prawns (cleaned and deveined)

2 tbsp ginger garlic paste

1 tsp black pepper powder

6 tbsp cooking oil

 For stir frying with vegetables

½ cup each red and yellow bell pepper (sliced)

1 medium size onion (sliced)

5 baby corn (sliced)

1 tbsp ginger garlic paste

2 tbsp cooking oil

1 tsp apple cider vinegar

1 tsp soy sauce

1 tsp black pepper powder

Salt to taste

Step 1 – Deep Frying The Prawns

Heat the wok at a high temperature and add the cooking oil.

Now deep fry the marinated prawns for 2 minutes in high heat until golden brown and crispy. Keep the fried prawns in a paper towel to soak the excess oil.

Step 2 – Stir-Frying

Heat the wok at a high temperature and just before it smokes, add 1 tbsp of cooking oil to grease the wok and remove it. The hot wok, the cold oil technique, helps prevent food from sticking to the bottom of the wok.

Add the cut vegetables to the wok, put soy sauce, ginger garlic paste, apple cider vinegar. Stir fry it in high heat for 6-7 minutes. Keep moving the ingredients consistently to prevent burning.

Add the deep-fried prawns with black pepper powder, a little salt, and stir fry for 2 minutes to finish your dish.
