A Toast to Good Times!

It seems to be a celebration time at Tricity-based Hops ‘n’ Grains Microbrewery as they clinched the prestigious title of ‘Trendsetter Microbrewery in North India’ at the recently held Brewer World Conclave 2023 in Bengaluru. Not only this, Hops ‘n’ Grains master brewer, Gagandeep Singh won the prestigious ‘BW Award’ for Star Brewer-Punjab.

Creating History

“Did you know that the ancient Babylonians were known to brew beer over 4,000 years ago? Just imagine what they’d think of Gagandeep’s creations today! As head brewer at Hops ‘n’ Grains Microbrewery, his brewing skills are truly top-notch. Hops ‘n’ Grains has been dedicated to crafting innovative brews since 2010. It was the first microbrewery of Tricity and the second longest-running microbrewery in India. Here’s to continued success and endless creativity,” congratulated Suraaj Nair, Co-Founder and Director of Brewer World.

Celebrating Excellence

The Brewer World Conclave opened doors for industry stakeholders to gather, discuss, and collaborate. More than 30 brands were featured this year, showcasing the most recent technologies, products, equipment, and solutions available to Indian beer manufacturers. Along with this, the Brewer World Awards and Beer of India Awards were presented across categories for excellence in different aspects of beer and brewing. “Brewer World (BW) Conclave is India’s only tradeshow and conference dedicated to the beer and brewing community, and it was an honor to be part of it and win the title too,” said founders, Hops ‘n’ Grains, Priyanka Gupta and Amritanshu Agrawal, who set the trend when they established the first microbrewery of Tricity in Panchkula in 2010.

Today, they are successfully running Hops ‘n’ Grains in Panchkula and Mohali and The Great Bear Microbrewery and Kitchen in Chandigarh. “There is no shortcut to good beer. We started this journey together, and we’ve always had each other’s back, which has been our biggest strength. All these years, we’ve followed our instincts, maintained quality and service, and invested – in the systems, the machinery, the equipment, the place, the right people, and the best teams. That has been our lucky charm,” the duo concludes.
