Ingredients
2 ½ cup of boiled rice
½ cup of shredded cabbage
1 medium-size Onion
1 medium-size Carrot
2 cloves of garlic
2 green chillies
1 tbsp Pav Bhaji masala
1 tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder
1 tbsp white vinegar
2 tbsp vegetable oil
Salt to taste
Coriander to garnish
2 Lime pieces
Steps
Take a Tawa or a flat frying pan, put 2 tbsp vegetable oil, let it heat up and add ½ cup shredded cabbage, 1 carrot cut into small 1/8 inch cubes or brunoise, 1 finely chopped onion, 2 cloves of garlic, 2 green chillies. Stir continuously for 5 minutes in medium-high flame.
Now add 1 tbsp of Pav bhaji masala, mix it well with the vegetables for 2-3 minutes in medium-high flame.
Add 2 ½ cup of boiled rice, stir slowly for 5 minutes to mix the ingredients well in medium-low flame.
Put 1 tsp of Kashmiri red chilli powder, stir it well with the rice and spice mix for 2-3 minutes in medium-low flame.
Sprinkle some salt to taste, 1 tbsp of white vinegar, stir for 2 minutes.
Finish the dish by garnishing with chopped coriander. Now enjoy your Tawa Fried Rice by squeezing ½ piece of lime.
