Stuffed Chillies with Meat Filling & Egg Dip

Ingredients for the green chillies

12 green chillies long

2 tbsp gram flour

1/2 tbsp red chilli & cumin powder

2 tbsp coconut milk

1 tbsp cornflour

3 tbsp cooking oil

salt to taste

Ingredients to marinate the meat

6 tbsp minced meat (chicken)

1/2 tbsp coconut milk

1/2 tbsp soy sauce, white vinegar

1/2 tbsp cumin powder, chicken masala

1 tbsp olive oil (extra virgin)

2 tbsp onion & 1 garlic clove

1/2 tbsp cornflour

Ingredients for Egg dip

2 yolks (hard boiled eggs)

3 tbsp coconut milk

1 tsp lime juice

Salt to taste

Steps to marinate the meat 

Put 6 tbsp of minced meat (chicken) in a bowl.

Add 1/2 tbsp coconut, soy sauce, white vinegar, cumin powder, chicken masala with grated onion and garlic. Mix the ingredients well with the meat.

Now put ½ tbsp of cornflour with 1 tbsp of olive oil (extra virgin) and give it a good mix. Cover the bowl and keep it aside for 20 minutes.

Steps to make the egg dip

In a bowl put 2 yolks (hard boiled eggs), add 3 tbsp coconut milk with 1 tsp lime juice.

Sprinkle some salt to taste. Whisk it so that there is no lump from the yolks. Cover and keep it inside the refrigerator.

Steps to make stuffed chillies

Take 12 green chillies (long) and silt in between to deseed the chillies. Repeat the process.

In a bowl, put 2 tbsp gram flour, 1/2 tbsp red chilli powder, 1/2 tbsp cumin powder,2 tbsp coconut milk, 1 tbsp cornflour. Add little water to whisk it into a batter.

Open the marinated meat bowl, take 1/2 tsp of marinated meat filling, and carefully put it inside the chillies. Repeat the process.

Heat a bottom-heavy pan, put 3 tbsp of cooking oil. Before frying the stuffed chillies, dip inside the batter and place it in the boiling oil.

Fry until the stuffed chillies with fillings are lightly brown. Repeat the process for other chillies as well.

Now take a serving plate, put the egg dip along with the stuffed chillies with meat filling to enjoy.
