Ingredients
500 gms Tilapia fish (curry cut)
4 tbsp coconut milk
2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
1 tbsp blackpepper powder
1 tsp red chilli powder
1 medium size onion (sliced)
1 lemongrass stem (cut into small pieces)
3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
Salt to taste
Water as required
Step 1
Wash and pat dry the fish pieces. Marinate the fish by adding black pepper powder, red chili powder, ginger garlic paste, coconut milk, onion, 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil, and lemongrass. Mix it and keep it aside for 30 minutes.
Step 2
Heat a pan, add extra virgin olive oil and pour the marinated fish. Close the lid and let it steam in low heat for 15 minutes. Keep stirring the fish.
After 15 minutes, add ½ cup of water, a little salt to taste, and let it boil for another 10 minutes in medium low heat for all the flavors to blend well.
Step 3
After 10 minutes, remove the dish from the stove, serve hot with some rice to enjoy the aromatic spicy gravy.
