You will need 500 gms Indian basa skinless and cleaned cuts.
Marinate the fish cuts with 4 tbsp of dark soy sauce and 2 tbsps of ginger, garlic, and green chili paste for 30 minutes.
Now dry roast one and half tablespoons of black peppercorn and hand pound them into a smooth powder.
Heat a wok and wash it with cold oil. Add finely chopped onions (one medium-size) and dry fry until caramelized in high flame.
Now add the marinated fish cubes to the wok. Mix well and let it simmer for 10 minutes on low flame.
Add the crushed black pepper powder, mix it well and let it cook for 5 minutes on medium-high flame. Put one cup of cornstarch slurry and boil for 5 minutes.
Put 7-8 cherry tomatoes with salt to taste and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes more on a high flame.
Enjoy your Fish in soy and pepper sauce with fried rice.
