- 2 medium-size tomato
- 2 tbsp mozzarella cheese
- 3 tbsp olive oil (extra virgin)
- 100 gms minced meat (chicken)
- 1 tbsp oregano
- 1 tbsp black pepper
- 1 medium-size onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- Salt to taste
Steps 1: Take 100 gms minced meat (chicken) in a bowl. Add 1 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar, 1 tbsp of black pepper powder, 2 cloves of garlic, 1 tsp oregano with 1 finely chopped medium-sized onion and salt to taste. Mix the ingredients and the minced meat properly. Keep it aside for 10 minutes.
Step 2: Heat a pan, add 2 tbsp of olive oil (extra virgin) and put the marinated minced meat. Stir continuously for 6-7 minutes in the medium-high flame until the juice recedes. Let it cool down. Take a small knife and scoop out the seeds from the tomatoes to make it hollow.
Step 3: Now take 2 tbsp of cooked minced meat and fill the hollow part of the tomatoes. Now place the tomatoes on to a baking tray with parchment paper. Pour 1 tbsp of olive oil (extra virgin) over the tomatoes and add 2 tbsp of mozzarella cheese over the meat fillings. Pre-heat the oven for 10 minutes at 200 degrees Celsius.
Step 4: Now place the baking tray inside the oven to cook the tomatoes with meat fillings at 180 degrees Celsius for 35 minutes. Allow it to cool down for 5 minutes and serve the baked stuffed tomatoes by splashing some spicy sauce of your choice.
