When Street Food Met Hotel Management Graduates!

A viral video of two Punjabi brothers was seen to be floating on the internet ever since the food blogger, and digital creator, Harry Uppal traced their entrepreneurial journey!

The 22 years old Hotel Management graduate, Narinder Singh is garnering love in Mohali and Tricity for his delectable street food delights including tikki, bhalla papdi chaat, gol gappe, and dahi bhalla among others.

Humble Beginnings

Hailing his roots from the royal city of Patiala, Narinder made his humble beginnings in this industry by pursuing a course in Hotel Management.

After completing his course, he, along with his brother, worked at an array of famous food chains including Domino’s Pizza and Nik Bakers before taking the plunge and starting his own food venture.

During the pandemic, his job was heavily impacted and that’s when he decided to start his own venture. He and his brother made their humble beginnings by opening a tea stall and eventually ventured into street food delights.

“Initially, our family was not very supportive of the idea of opening a food stall. So, I and my brother initially lied to our family and started this venture with our own savings. With the blessings of God, our hard work was appreciated by the customers, and we were able to sustain in the long run,” smiled Narinder in the video.

The Perfect Balance Between Quality and Quantity

Within just a few days of opening the stall, these Sardar Singh Brothers created an edge over other food stalls in the area, and the credit certainly goes to the fine balance that they have struck between their food quality as well as the quantity.

“All our recipes are prepared in pure dairy products and hand-picked ingredients. Our very famous aloo tikki is prepared in desi ghee on a copper pan and even all our summer coolers are made of select ingredients,” informed Narinder in the video.

All of their food items are seen to be extremely budget friendly and fresh!

“Thanks to our customers, we have now taken a shop on rent named ‘I Love Punjab’ to provide an even better service,” he further informed.

The Entrepreneurs In Style

It is clearly evident that these sardar brothers have taken their Hotel Management degree quite seriously and that’s what has motivated them to get all suited-booted while running their business!

And well, the professionalism is not only seen in their attire but also in their high-quality food items. So, this weekend, if you are around Mohali and want to eat some yummy street food, you can consider gorging on some at these brothers’ food stall. You can find them opposite Gurudwara Singh Sabha, Phase 11, Tarf Kumbra, Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, Punjab.
