Giving Back to the Society

Auromir Foundation has been spreading integral lifelong learnings since 2017 and this time, they are back with a bang by holding an exhibition-cum-sale of their various handicrafts at The JW Marriott, Chandigarh.

“Inner strength and self-worth are the sources of true empowerment. Auromir Foundation, therefore, works for this inner transformation,” says Director and CEO Geetanjali.

The Satyameva Community project which was launched in July 2018 to spearhead Auromir Foundation’s social and community development initiatives, has three components: providing free education and basic skills to slum-dwelling children, providing free certified vocational training to disadvantaged women, and reviving the dying traditional skills & handicrafts of India by providing support and employment to master artisans who have been practising their skills and crafts through several generations.

This is a program that seamlessly integrates education, skills training, and revival of handmade skills to create a rich environment for learning and mutual support.

All proceeds from their sales are used to support children living in the slums, thereby providing livelihood to underprivileged women and traditional artisans.

You can check out this scintillating exhibition on 6th and 7th March at Stall no. 17 & 18, JW Marriott, Chandigarh.
