The Chandigarh Chapter of the Public Relations Council of India (PRCI), made a convincing sweep by bagging a total of five awards at the 17th Global Communication Conclave organized by the Public Relations Council of India in association with Public Relations Society Delhi on September 21-22, 2023, in New Delhi. The conclave was well attended by over 350 representatives from the fields of Public Relations, Media, Corporate Communications, Advertising, and students from all over India.
The individuals who brought laurels to the city include former Director of Public Relations at Panjab University, Renuka Salwan, who received the KN Ashok Memorial Award in the Chanakya Series for Public Relations. Noted filmmaker and recipient of the Rajat Kamal (National Award), Ojaswee Sharma, bagged the Communicator of the Year (Film) award, and PR practitioner Ritu Nag received the Chanakya award for Corporate Branding. The Chandigarh chapter also won the Best YCC Activities and the Award for Active YCC Chapters under the Chandigarh Chapter of PRCI, which includes GGDSD College – Chandigarh, Mehar Chand Mahajan DAV College, and Shoolini University (Solan).
The Chandigarh Chapter was represented by Vivek Atrey, North Zone Chairman in the National Executive of PRCI, Rupesh Kumar Singh, Chairman PRCI, Chandigarh, Renuka Salwan, Vice President, North, PRCI, CJ Singh, Senior Vice President, North, PRCI, Ojaswee Sharma, and Ritu Nag. CJ Singh summarized the proceedings of the two-day conclave at the end of the event.
