Following the success of her first three books author, poet and professor Dr Ritu Kamra Kumar is here with yet another Coffee Table Book ‘Kalp Vriksh: Seth Jai Parkesh’s journey of Passion, Compassion and Philanthropy’.
Written by Dr Ramesh Kumar, Punjabi poet & writer and Dr Ritu Kamra Kumar, the book is a document of the eventful and exemplary life of Seth Jai Parkesh jee, his ideas and ideals, devotion and dedication to serve the society with a supreme sense of selflessness. Just as Seth Jai Parkesh son of Seth Mukand Lal firmly believed, “A kind gesture can heal a wound – that is what compassion is.”
The book covers nine decades of an inspirational and insightful journey of philanthropist Mukand who was devoted to the cause of education, healthcare and other social issues ailing the society.

Dr Ramesh Kumar has about 20 Punjabi poetry to his credit. Recently, he has been awarded with the Haryana Punjabi Gaurav Puruaskar by the Haryana Punjabi Sahitya Academy, Government of Haryana.
Dr Ritu Kamra Kumar is an Associate Professor and the Head of Post Graduate Department of English at Mukand Lal National College, Yamunanagar. She is an avid writer and poet.
Around 300 write-ups and poems by her have been published in leading national dailies and she also has 4 books to her credit.
