The much-coveted Dr Ambedkar Institute of Hotel Management, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India, recently thrived with happiness as the institute celebrated its Fresher’s Party, to welcome the fresh batch of BSc, MSc, and Diploma students.
The college auditorium was beautifully decorated in the ‘Bollywood’ theme, as the senior students welcomed their fresh inmates by offering them a grand gala cultural event.
On this occasion, a plethora of cultural activities were organized, which included song and dance performances that were followed by a welcome speech by Mr Sitesh Srivastava, Principal of the Institute.
“It is a life-changing journey for you all and we want each one of you to leave an impression of infallibility on the walls of this institute,” Mr Sitesh modestly shared.
The entire event was planned and organized by the student clubs which gave them a platform to hone their event management skills. The most awaited part of the function was the judgement of Mr & Ms Fresher 2022.
While Shivom Nayyar bagged the title of Mr Fresher, Serena became the Ms Fresher at the event. Saaraansh Nagi was the Mr Fresher Runner Up, Hrilekha Deka was the Miss Fresher Runner Up, and Saru won the Best Personality title.
The stunning event ended with a cheering Bhangra performance that was followed by the cake cutting ceremony.
